The 3 colour backlight display will help alert users when temperatures might be outside the range of normal with the following signals:

• Green Display with happy face measurement is below 99.1F this is a normal temperature.
• Yellow Display with happy face measurement is below 100F this is a normal temperature, but is on the higher end of acceptable.
• Red Display with sad face measurement is above 100F this is a high temperature and you should seek medical attention.
