The fiberoptic illumination of the redesigned Microlux 2 Transilluminator can detect caries, calculus, fractures, and even root canal orifices, often without the need for X-rays. With two selectable output levels (5,000 or 1,500 lux), the high-intensity LED emits a bright, focused beam of cool white light and lasts 50,000 hours. Ergonomic design features a repositioned power button for more comfortable one-finger operation and a three-sided base to prevent rolling. Built-in voltage regulator ensures constant light output, even when batteries are low. Replaceable, autoclavable black glass light guide provides a concentrated 3mm spot. 7″ long overall. Includes transilluminator with 3mm light guide. Operates approximately 10 hours on two AAA batteries included. One year warranty.
