How to use the Metal Detector?
1.On off mode
(1)Short press the power button to turn on it. Long press the power button for more than 4 seconds to shut it down.
(2)Long press the power button for more than 4 seconds to turn on it. Short press the power button to shut it down.
2. Mode selection
(1) You can start normal operation after power on for 3 seconds. The display interface will return to the operation interface, and the backlight will automatically turn off.
(2)Toexclude ferrous black metals and retain non-ferrous metals is the mostcommonoperation in the actual detection process. You can use the set button to adjust the mode to theDISCmode. In this way, the device will automatically removesuch rubbish metalsas iron and only detect non-ferrous metals, such as gold, silver, copper and aluminum!
(3)To detect iron or black metal, please adjust the device mode to all metal mode by pressing the set button. The device is probably disturbed by external environment, such as stratum mineralization, metal waste and so on In all metal mode. Therefore, we need to adjust the device sensitivity to the critical point of device sensitivity. Please refer to clause 3 to check how to set the critical point of sensitivity.
3. Sensitivity plus or minus settings.
The DT-1 underground metal detector has adjustable sensitivity levels from 0-99. The greater the sensitivity the deeper the depth, on the contrary the smaller the sensitivity the shallower the detection depth. (More details you can refer to the user manual)
4. Metal type of discrimination.
The characteristics of the metal will be different according to their own degree of oxidation and the signal generated by the equipment recognition is also different, which will directly lead to a certain deviation in the digital resolution on the display screen of the equipment. Therefore, the general detector will be based on multiple detection of the equipment for different metals generated by the value of the interval for reference. Each country’s metal differs in the materials used to produce it, so only the results from the local metal test will prevail. Here is a reference for the customer!
